Don't See Your University?
Use the generic CGPA calculators below for any Indian university on a 10-point scale. If your institution has a specific published formula, confirm it with your examination department.
Why the Right Formula Matters
Not all CGPA calculators are the same. The formula varies by institution, and getting it wrong can affect your application.
Generic ร9.5 is not universal
The standard CBSE formula is CGPA ร 9.5. But Anna University, VIT, and SRM use CGPA ร 10. Mumbai University Engineering uses a different formula: (7.1 ร CGPA) + 11.
Applications need accuracy
When applying to universities abroad or submitting job applications, your percentage must match your official transcript. A wrong formula can raise a red flag with admissions offices.
We use the official formula
Every university calculator on this site uses the formula from the institution's official grading regulation or published circular โ not an approximation. Verified and updated regularly.
